When you hear the coffee grinder rattle, you just know why you’ve been spending all that effort on keeping all those backups, including a spare development PC with all your tools installed. It’s the spare that died.

must be the season. i recently lost a laptop because, uh, m’lovely wife spilled wine on it.
hard drive was okay, though.
and, according to my kids, i’m “paranoid about backups”. so, yeah, it was backed up.
